POST STUDIO · BRISBANE / WORLDWIDE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Practical answers about planning a shoot, working on location and receiving the finished images. Every project is different, so the final scope, timing and usage are confirmed in your quote.
What photography services does Post Studio provide?
Post Studio specialises in commercial photography, event coverage, unit stills and behind-the-scenes photography, and stage or live-performance photography. Projects range from brand campaigns, hospitality, products and workplaces to conferences, film sets, theatre, dance and music.
How much does photography cost?
Pricing is tailored to the brief. The quote considers preparation, shoot duration, location, crew or equipment requirements, post-production, delivery timing and how the images will be used. Send the date, location and a short project outline for an accurate estimate.
What information should I include in an enquiry?
The most useful starting points are the project type, date, location, schedule, intended audience, required shot list and where the photographs will appear. References, brand guidelines, call sheets and venue information can be shared once the conversation begins.
Can you help plan the visual approach?
Yes. Post Studio can help translate a brief or existing brand system into a practical photographic direction, including locations, timing, shot priorities, lighting approach and natural direction for people on camera.
Can you work discreetly during filming or live performance?
Yes. Unit still and stage work is approached with minimal movement, quiet equipment and awareness of sound, lighting, performers, audience sightlines and production departments. The aim is to capture the work without interrupting it.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
Post Studio is based in Brisbane and regularly works across South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Interstate and international projects are welcome, with travel requirements included clearly in the quote.
How many photographs will I receive?
The expected image range is agreed from the schedule and shot list. You receive a considered selection of the strongest useful photographs rather than every exposure made during the shoot.
What editing is included?
Selected photographs receive professional colour correction, tonal work, cropping and consistent finishing. Detailed compositing, key art, extensive object removal or specialist product and architectural retouching can be scoped separately when required.
Do you provide RAW files?
Finished edited files are the standard deliverable. RAW files are not normally included because they are unfinished working material, but production-specific archive requirements can be discussed before the shoot.
How quickly are photographs delivered?
Turnaround depends on the volume of coverage and level of post-production. The delivery date is confirmed before booking. Fast previews or an expedited edit can be arranged when publicity, media or social teams need selected images quickly.
How will the final images be delivered?
Final photographs are supplied through a private online gallery or secure download, with high-resolution files and web-ready versions where required. File structure and naming can be adapted for production, agency or marketing workflows.
What image usage is included?
Usage is defined in the quote so both sides understand where and for how long the photographs may be used. Requirements can include websites, organic social media, internal communications, editorial, publicity, advertising, packaging or large-format campaigns.
What happens if the schedule changes?
Let Post Studio know as early as possible. Rescheduling, cancellation, weather and production-delay terms are confirmed for each project in the quote or agreement, because a short portrait session and a multi-day production require different arrangements.
What equipment do you work with?
Post Studio works with Nikon D850, Nikon Z6 and Nikon ZR camera bodies; Nikon 28–75mm f/2.8, 70–200mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/1.4 lenses; and Sigma 14–24mm f/2.8 and 105mm f/1.4 lenses. A DJI Mini 4 Pro drone, portable studio lighting, backgrounds and location-ready support equipment are available when the brief requires them. The exact kit is selected for the production, venue, available light and intended final use.
